What exactly is the Silent Groom Pro?
A quiet electric nail grinder for dogs and cats. Instead of cutting the nail in one go like a clipper, it files it down little by little — so you stay in control and there is no sudden snap.
Is it loud? Will it scare my pet?
It runs at around 40 dB, roughly the level of a quiet room and well below a normal conversation. Most pets stop reacting after the first few seconds.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
Up to 5 hours of use on a full charge, and it charges over USB-C — the cable you already use for your phone works.
How long does a grinding bit last?
Between 3 and 5 sessions, depending on how hard your pet's nails are. It is a consumable, like a razor blade: when it stops filing as quickly, you swap it.
Does it work on cats as well as dogs?
Yes. It is designed for dogs and cats of all sizes — you simply use shorter passes on smaller, thinner nails.
Using it
How do I use it for the first time?
Let your pet hear it running for a few seconds before you touch a paw. Then hold the paw steady and work from the tip of the nail in short passes of two to three seconds, lifting between each one.
Your first session does not have to be all four paws. One paw a day is a perfectly good start.
My dog has black nails — how do I know when to stop?
On black nails the quick cannot be seen from the outside, so you work from the tip in very short passes and look between each one. As you get closer, a small pale, chalky circle appears in the centre of the tip. That circle is your signal to stop.
How often should I trim my pet's nails?
Every two to three weeks for most dogs and cats. Simple test: if you can hear the nails clicking on a hard floor, they are already too long.
My pet panics at the sight of clippers. Will this be different?
That is exactly the case it was made for. There is no squeeze, no snap and no sharp noise — the three things most pets actually react to. Go slowly the first two or three times and let them set the pace.

Which countries do you ship to?

How long does delivery take?
Orders are prepared and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery time then depends on your country and carrier.
How do I track my order?
You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel leaves. You can also enter it on our tracking page at any time.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Yes, as long as the parcel has not shipped yet. Write to us as soon as possible with your order number and the new address.
Returns, payment and help
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return. Write to us and we will send you the steps.
My order arrived damaged or incomplete. What now?
Send us a photo along with your order number and we will sort it out — replacement or refund, whichever suits you.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payment is handled by Shopify's secure checkout and your card details never reach us. The methods available to you are shown at checkout.
