1. The towel method
The most common, but also the most labor-intensive: you have to wipe each paw one at a time while your dog tries to escape. Effective for light dirt, but less so for mud stuck between the paw pads.
2. Rinsing with lukewarm water
More effective on dried mud, but it requires water, a basin, and a cooperative dog — not always easy to achieve after an exciting walk.
3. The paw-cleaning cup
The paw is inserted into the cup, and a gentle rotation is enough to dislodge the dirt with the help of soft bristles, without splashes or stress for the animal. It’s the fastest method for everyday use, especially for dogs that don’t like having their paws handled too much.
How often should you clean them?
After every outing in wet or muddy weather. In dry weather, a simple visual check is generally sufficient.
